ok all

here's the idea:
anybody that wants to can post an assignment for board members to do which will pertain to writing. this is to get us all to branch out of the bars we strap ourselves in. there's people on this board with lots of different writing experiences, styles and influences. we all have read and written stuff that no one else might have. we all are often confined by things we have not experienced, tried or read. The idea is that if you wish - you can post a suggestion which is basically an assignment on how to write a poem.. what to base it on.. what style to use.. a subject for the poem.. a concept or whatever... if you're idea is that you want us all to write some Rengay - that's great. if it's Oriki(which I know nothing about) - that's great. whatever. if you want us to write a sonnet, good. if you want us to write a poem about a bird, which I believe Machinery once assigned to Ranter - that's good too. whatever you assign.. we try to do. this is to help us all expand oru writing. I'll be waiting for the assignments to pop up. And please include the word "assignment" in the title - or make it understandable. ya know.

so - here's mine :

take a time limit of exactly 6 minutes and write as much as you can in that time, with no reflection or stops or anything. don't stop and read what you've written, just keep writing. don't slow up. don't try to think of a concept of anything, just write the first things that come to your head.

then post it. (and label your post so we know)
